the Word is an anchor
every Word of God is to anchor the human heart in faith...

Every word of God is to anchor the human heart in faith.  We are to concede that faith, true faith, obliges us to embrace God's truth whenever He speaks, irrespective of His message or the manner in which it is spoken.  The knowledge of the truth and love must be indispensable to our faith.  Our faith is not to be just a function of an intellectual assent to some set of doctrines about particular dutiful beliefs. Our faith is to be a personal encounter with God, who is truthful and loving. In Jesus, we have the full manifestation of God. Jesus Christ, as God, is truth and love personified in this wise. And so, faith becomes that personal conviction of an intimate encounter with Jesus Christ, himself, the truth and love of God.  Faith, as knowledge of the truth and love, lives out that truth and love that transcend every form of falsehood and hate. Faith itself becomes an expression of truth and love. Our faith, therefore, develops through the enduring process of our transformation into truth and love. And we communicate the truth and love because we have such knowledge through faith.

Faith opens to us through revelation and by grace.  Faith is the knowledge of truth.  Jesus is all truth and comes from God and is God, and since God in His very nature is immutable, truth itself cannot change. God is an infinite existence. God’s very nature is to exist.  The Father's nature is discerned exclusively through the Son, for while the Father dwells in unapproachable light, He radiates the brilliance of that light upon us through His Son. Thus,

unapproachable light

all truth is infinite.  That should mean for us that truth is the reality to which we are brought to by faith.  We need knowledge and truth to stand firm in our faith.  It is because faith is linked with truth and love that the word of God offers new light.  Because faith is our receiving from God...truth and love are our giving.  Faith is a personal commitment to the ultimate truth, love is a commitment to the God who gives faith.  Faith is knowledge because it is tied to love and brings enlightenment. Faith’s understanding is born when we receive God's immense love, transforming us inwardly and enabling us to see reality with a new mind.

There are many who have faith, yet do not understand how to operate in it.  There are many who know love, but love not.  Faith knows because it loves.  And love is the total commitment of life to God.  Faith is that profound conviction in the ultimate truth and total commitment to God, who is truth and love. To truly know God and to assent to the truths revealed by God in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, and purposed for our belief, we they, us them, I you, must come to the knowledge of the truth and love. God is love. He is the transcendental truth. His revealed truth is his self-communication in the world. The self-communication of God is His representation in the world. It is His intentional and deliberate sharing. And that is the message of our salvation. Jesus Christ, God’s incarnate Son, makes us understand that he is the way, the truth, and the life. Life is a commitment to love. Jesus Christ as God, is the truth and love. Faith in God, therefore, is the knowledge of the truth and love.  It transcends human senses.  It is this faith that emerges - firm and unwavering knowledge of God's benevolent will, toward us. This knowledge, grounded in the promise freely bestowed through Jesus Christ, is unveiled to our reasoning mind, and imprinted upon our hearts by the Holy Spirit.  We serve an infinite God, and our service is accompanied by an infinite certainty, surpassing mere understanding.  We are certain of the sovereign judgment of God, we are certain of the faith of Jesus, and we are certain of the comforting promised Holy Spirit.  Ours is the confidence that embraces every truth of God.  God will

never forsake us. The core of faith is rooted in the anticipation of the life to come - this is where God's word leaves no room for uncertainty. Regardless of the hardships and distress that might befall us, we are embraced by the Lord's love, His benevolence remains the source of our profound contentment.  As our faith is to have this secure footing, we evoke God's grace in our life.

And the truth of God’s grace resounds in our faith.  Jesus Christ is not a mere creation; knowing him constitutes our singular glory. Our salutations extend the same blessings from Jesus Christ, as they do from God the Father. This not only signifies that through Christ's intercession, we acquire God's benefits, but that Christ himself bestows them. Such knowledge, rooted in practical experience, far surpasses speculative deliberations.  This is faith. The faith that the soul attests to the unmistakable presence of God, tangibly sensing His existence through enlightenment, justification, sanctification, and salvation.  This faith is pronounced distinctly in scripture: the Father is the origin of all actions and the source of everything; the Son embodies wisdom, counsel, and the arrangement of all things; the Holy Spirit represents power and efficacy in all actions. The unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit's eternal existence is irrefutable.  Through faith, we not only approach God but also encounter Him as our Father, for we cannot know Him apart from His Son and the Holy Spirit, who conveys to us this extraordinary privilege. With God as our Father, we become His cherished children, and as His children, we also become heirs.  This is that luminous mystery that can only be revealed by faith.  Faith is of truth and truth is of faith.  Faith is more than our confident expectation that every word of God will be fulfilled...it is our knowledge that the reality of every word of God is already done!  This is our power in the last days.  That power is not in faith.  That power points us to Another.
