When the Spiritual Mind is Abandoned…{an excerpt}

"No!"

Why must our studies be so intense? Why do we read words written by man and then reason with the word of God to see what is truth? Why do we pray for people in a country that hates truth? Why are we called to witness to others concerning the things taught by Christ? Because God says so. We are to be separate. The will of God is that we take care not to be deceived. Prepare your minds for the rejection of the concept of God. There is in this country today a concerted effort to deny the sinfulness of much of what the bible condemns. The rewrite of western civilization and its foundations are already in published print. We are in the time when educators, military personnel, medical professionals, industrial employers, politicians, civil workers, financial institutions, government assistant recipients…you name any leverageable position and know that if any knows that breaking God's law deserves judgment and choose instead to side with the opposers of right, they are guilty before God and they are, in the words of scripture, "without excuse." We must be prayerful that we not abandon truth for the sake of well being. If we take an honest look at this last time we see too many people who are close to us in varying ways "filled with" a series of sins that have to do with general evil. We are made in the image of God and with a knowledge of the true God. Any influence that moves us away from this truth is an expression of divine abandonment. There are things that the wicked know about God. These things are evident within them. How? Because God made it evident to them. Remember, the word says they are without excuse. Remember also that the bible says, “when they knew God”, and it says, “they know the judgment of God”. That means they look within and learn of themselves. The texts that reveal this way of living are troubling. There is not one of us who acts entirely out of ignorance. And the world’s people know they are wrong. That is why they resort to some method of force to turn the hearts of others away from what is right. God counsels us to choose life. Heaven and earth will maintain this record for review in the millennium.
