Spiritual Diversion...

Warning! Spiritual Diversion

Warning means current conditions could turn worse. Watch means conditions exist now and the severity of imminent events are developing. Decision season is past, prepared season is here. Are you prepared? God has issued a “watch”. And with this dire development being now He says “pray”. We must immediately be in a safe place. Jesus is the only safe place ever. Do not sleep during a watch. You cannot depend upon warning sirens. Those are for the ones who are outside. We must be awakened to deception, temptations that lead to spiritual rebellion and transgression. The works of Satan, the spirit of antagonism can only be countered with spiritual integrity. Let me be clear and precise…when your spirit is wounded you are apt to turn to emotional attitude. This will lower your altitude and put you nearer the storm. Wounds expose premature death to the bone marrow. Your attempt to close that wound hardens character. Christ is the only healing balm. A change is needed. Seeing things in the light of God’s word stablishes your standing in the midst of turbulence.

Spiritual diversion is the intent to turn something aside from its true course. It is a distraction from something more important. This is a spirit, an evil spirit, a spirit of divination.

Acts 16:16-18

Spiritual diversion is prompted by a hidden agenda. It wants to protect self by covering up dark ways. It’s anything to keep you from Christ. The agenda is to remove your focus from the diversion by using something that pulls at you. Our task is to “go ye therefore”. Do not allow your discernment to be dimmed by affection. This diversion will apt to be clothed in the words of God. But hear how the foundation of truth turns to another direction. You can either convert to the truth or you will divert the truth. Listen for the change in the conversation. Let the sword of truth cut off the spirit. Ignore the smile on the face, the flatter, the emotional concern, discern the face of the heart. Focus your mind on God so that you do not pad your sword or sugar your words. You know when God sends someone to you…hear the very words spoken. Some of us are seeking, seeking, seeking. Some are talking, talking, talking. When the word of God shows up right in front of your face and you reject it, you are wanting another god. Be prayerful. People with this spirit tend to struggle with truth as they continue to repeat to themselves their belief of error. They don’t understand that they are deflecting God’s word as He is trying to bring His sword to the flesh. Understand God’s word how He says it, not how it is carnally dealt with. When you hear self-justification know that flesh is speaking.

God’s remnant will know each other and where each other are spiritually by the Spirit. Just because we call someone brother, sister…just because one presents deep revelations…just because one prays with you does not solidify them as of God. What solidifies and justifies is the Spirit of God that bears witness with our spirit. Oneness with God is the key to know who is one in relationship with God…listen to the words with a mind of Christ, not the mind of the flesh.

Facial expressions, enticing words are not our appeal. We are to be spiritual knowing the Spirit of God. See and hear with the mind, the eyes will deceive. You ever see someone crying on the outside…were they laffing on the inside? You ever hear one singing on the outside while they were broken on the inside? There are deeper things that God’s spirit reveals. God is love. God is Spirit. God is light. This is our gospel. We are to build everything upon the thought of God. Everything for inspiration. Everything for strength. Everything for health, peace, joy. We have an imperative need. We need Jesus. To our untaught minds he is the perfectly and infinitely presence of God.

There is no vague, no illusory, no inaccessible way to God…Christ is the way. He is so far above the range of our senses that he must give us spiritual discernment to think of His purposes let alone to enter into His purposes. So then that the true worshipper can worship Him in spirit and truth, the word of God must be that only truth. Keep your opinion to yourself. Our hope is not to be like God…our hope is to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. It is that confidence that we have in God’s performance.

There is this hour of temptation drawing in. We are very near the troubles where some would have us disbelieve that we may be overcome by their influence. Do not parley with such. Do not be of opinion with such. Comply in no way with such. Beg of God for His grace as you pray for such on the occasion that such may enter Christ. The time is kept a secret that you may be engaged to stand for Christ. Be on your guard. Allow none to perplex you with their opinion. Qualify the word for yourself.
